We have sold a lot of these for countertops and shelves. One client used this planed mango wood for facing beams and ceilings in his exclusive New York City restaurant. Mango is a really nice wood and highly figured. It compares to koa. 

Mango is a highly figured wood that has an incredible amount of variety. Of all of the woods that we have planted and worked with for more than twenty years, mango has the most amazing character and figure. 

This mango wood has been kiln dried and end sealed with wax. 
These boards will make some really nice guitars, fine furniture, cutting boards, jewelry boxes, etc. We also sell mango turning squares, pen blanks, and slabs with natural edge or wane.
